One of our most favourite places to go as a family, is the Japanese Gardens in Ipswich. The Water Dragon's are bold enough to come right up to you if you are patient and quiet enough. And the turtles will take a peek at you unobserved unless you are careful to watch for them. There are beautiful ducks too. But beware a friend has seen a snake crossing her pathway. Take a look at our recent photos. I love watching my family enjoy the outdoors. There is a little man made hill there that used to seem huge 12 years ago when toddlers struggled to reach the top, now my youngest kids race up in seconds! For 12 years I've watched this garden grow as my family has grown. It is a part of our history, our life together, the ebb and flow and continuity and yet changes that happen in family life! Going home was so beautiful too!
These are Maned Ducks, also known as Wood Ducks or Maned Goose.
This tree has a tiny spider, see of you can see it in the photos that follow...
The soul is fed in times of enjoying our Creator’s art splashed out for our delight each day. He has given us nature to still the soul, inspire meditation and to encourage our hearts to bust with love for Him. I also think it does something for human relations to enjoy God's world together. This blog is about enjoying nature the way God intended it to be enjoyed.
