And now I know why! When we were looking at the tiny spider webs in the grass early this morning, we found out that earthworms can move along in the grass - what are they doing? Wriggle, wriggle amongst the wet blades... Playing 'dare, double dare' amongst themselves?? Defying the birds?? Looking for extra moisture?? Catching a bit of Vitamin D from the sunshine before it gets too hot??
