The children remember the ice cream shop, the beaches, walking around the mount, fishing, watching crabs, seeing the big ships come close by as you walk around the mount. And of course the hot pools which is one of the few salt water, naturally hot water pools in the world. Oh and not least you can see White Island an active volcano from the Mount on a clear day see http://www.volcanicair.co.nz/presentation/VolcanicAirNormal07Pres.aspx?ID=9830
The kids also remember the year the Mount was on fire, and we saw helicopters scoop up water to try and douse the flames. http://www.111emergency.co.nz/F-I/Firefighters_in_action_MtMaunganui.htm
The soul is fed in times of enjoying our Creator’s art splashed out for our delight each day. He has given us nature to still the soul, inspire meditation and to encourage our hearts to bust with love for Him. I also think it does something for human relations to enjoy God's world together. This blog is about enjoying nature the way God intended it to be enjoyed.
