Granny collects owls, not real ones but ornaments. And so we have a natural inclination to love owls - how I would love to see one in the wild again. (We used to have a visiting one in our big garden in NZ. It was a Morepork see http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/birds-of-prey/2 ) Never mind....here is a link someone sent me for a most magnificent owl, the Great Grey Owl - amazing creature - so majestic and wild and yet his feathers look so soft you just want to reach out and touch those soft feathers!
